McGraw-Hill Education is hiring a paid intern to work in our Design Research team at our Polaris, Columbus, Ohio office.
Based in the Creative department, you will be responsible for undertaking focused desk research activity, writing reports and producing other material related to user-centered design, research methods, educational technology and related matters. You may also be expected to contribute directly to the design and implementation of small-scale qualitative and quantitative research activity.
You will be an advanced undergraduate or post-graduate from a humanities or business background for example Communications, Marketing, Psychology, Service Design, Interaction Design or similar).
A solid understanding of the utilization of quantitative and qualitative research methods to gather data is essential, as is an ability to analyze that data and generate meaningful recommendations from research results.
Strong written/verbal skills are fundamental as is an interest in human-computer interaction, user experience or another technology-focused area.
The position is flexible, part-time and the expected commitment is up to 10 hours per week, between the hours of 9-5 Mon-Fri.
