The Vice President, Global Brand Media & Strategic Alliances is responsible for developing and executing the global media strategy, supporting the creative development for NetJets advertising in both offline and online channels, as well as identifying, prioritizing, activating and managing domestic and international marketing partnerships that generate revenue, brand awareness and provide added value benefits for current NetJets clients. These relationships must off-set fixed costs, generate lead sources for sales, prospects potential incremental revenue sources, provides value added offerings for our current NetJets Owners, and employees. The Vice President, Brand Media & Strategic Alliances is also responsible for managing the execution of partnerships in the field. Forging partnerships with outside companies to generate lead flow and understand Return on Investment with these partnerships.
On the Media side, the Vice President, Global Brand Media & Strategic Alliances manages media relationships in order to maximize placement budget globally. Moreover, the position ensures paid media placements are focused on effective targeting based on geographic & demographic segmentation. The Vice President, Global Media & Strategic Alliances interfaces with Marketing, Sales, and Company leadership and must ensure that the advertising strategy and execution is consistent with the brand objectives and drives the required amount of leads to support Sales goals. This position requires 30% travel domestically and abroad.
30%: Global Media Plan Strategy and Management: Develop media plan and negotiate pricing and value added benefits with both paid and success-based advertising outlets. Strategy Implementation: Create, define, and implement a marketing partnership strategy for both domestic and international partners to maximize revenue generation and strategic global partnerships that will expand market share, build top line revenue, increase margins and drive flight revenue
20%: Ad Negotiations and Placement: Strategically manages external placements to ensure optimized budget and strategic targeting. Partnership Negotiations: Negotiate partnership deal points and secure contractual agreements with various partners. Activate and execute various marketing components of each national and international partnership. Renew expiring partnerships agreements and / or continue to re-evaluate extending partnerships, discontinue or look for replacements.
20%: Ad Development: Collaborates with Creative to create targeted ad messaging with external advertising agency. Manages existing marketing partnerships to ensure that all negotiated deal terms per marketing channel are being executed within the contracted term. Marketing channels include media, direct mail, events, digital and social media. Maximize budget through partnerships that offset marketing costs and stringent budget management.
20%: Advertising Tracking: Track NetJets advertising leads by media and creative and monitor competitor advertising for both message and spend. Adjusts plan as needed based on results to achieve desired objectives. Maximize budget through partnerships that offset marketing costs and stringent budget management. Partnership Tracking: Track NetJets partnership marketing leads, owner benefit redemptions and flight revenue by partnership. Maximize budget through partnerships that offset marketing costs and stringent budget management.
10%: Partner with Public Relations to ensure non-paid media support for paid effectiveness. Manage global budgets for Media and Strategic Alliances. Requires monthly interaction with Finance.
This position reports to the Global Chief Marketing Officer. This position manages 5 employees in the Marketing department.
Bachelor's Degree
Course of Study/Major: Marketing, Advertising, Finance, International Business
Type of Credentials/Licenses: BS/BA - MBA preferred

-Expert Media, Brand Development and Partnership Marketing knowledge, skills and experience with $1B plus consumer brands
-Expert knowledge and experience in developing and executing global marketing strategies focused on generating leads and retaining customers across the full range of the marketing mix including advertising development, direct marketing, collateral development, events, social media and digital marketing
-Tremendous negotiation skills
-Excellent communicator with strong editing and design skills.
-Significant demonstrated leadership capability
-Experience managing a global team across a broad range of marketing functions
-Strong analytical skills
-Significant experience working with a large outside Sales organization
-Possesses good judgment, strong collaborative skills, and the ability to navigate and influence across different functions in an organization
-Experience marketing a service related product to high net worth individuals is desired.
-Deep knowledge of the luxury category across multiple industries
-International marketing experience and experience utilizing marketing automation systems to implement segmented marketing strategies is a plus
-Experience working with and managing a full service ad agency
-Knowledge of advertising production and traffickingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
