Provides information systems processing/automation, technical support, network engineering consultation services, conducts information gathering sessions, and surveys key functional areas as requested. This will include LINUX, Virtualization and related storage components, Hewlett-Packard HP-UX, Sun Solaris, and Windows technical consulting services in support of the systems to accomplish hardware and software infrastructure improvements, IT staff re-training, and business process improvements as required by management. This position facilitates implementation,
standardization, and operation of enterprise services, processes, and workload.
This position performs analysis of proposed engineering design for optimization of Storage, Virtualization, UNIX and Windows hardware infrastructure which includes aiding other staff members in the adoption of evolving Enterprise tools and standard processes.
Required Skills and Education
Required education: High School/GED plus 10-years of experience, or related Associates degree plus 8-years of experience, or related Bachelor degree plus 6-years of experience, or related Masters degree plus 4-years of experience.
Experience with server environments to include the hardware, operating environments (Windows, LINUX, HP UNIX, Solaris), utilities communications, application and executive software and software support necessary for managing server resources, file structures, procedures, performance, and capacity.
Knowledge of network (LAN and WAN) technologies to include switches, routers, and network appliances.
The successful candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to prepare and present status briefings or transition documents to management and customers concerning transition projects. They must also be capable of training others on new technologies and business processes.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification. This is a GSEC, Security
(CE), SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISA, GCIH, GCED, CASP, or CISSP certification.
Preferred Skills and Education
ITIL v3 certifications.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Microsoft, UNIX, LINUX, Oracle Solaris, Cisco, Juniper, or other related IT certifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
