We are seeking a Manager of IT Infrastructure.
Description: The Manager of Infrastructure is responsible for all information technology infrastructure and shared services, including all data center and disaster recovery sites, physical and virtual servers, storage and backup infrastructure, desktop hardware, server and desktop operating systems, wireless, local area and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), Oracle and SQL databases, and all telecommunications equipment.
Roles and Tasks:
Own the scoping, architecture and design of new infrastructure that will support Quantum Health's business initiatives.
Architect, monitor, and maintain Active Directory related services, File Services, Server Infrastructure, WAN/LAN/WLAN supporting business-critical systems.
Maintain and troubleshoot companywide telecom communications; Zeacom knowledge preferred.
Troubleshoot and quickly resolve network issues.
Ensure performance, reliability, and transparency of all aspects of infrastructure elements.
Be responsible for server, storage, network, security and monitoring hardware, software and services ensuring they are optimized for availability, stability, integrity, performance and scalability.
Forecasts demand for storage, computing and network capacity and takes appropriate action before capacity limits are reached.
Be responsible for the group that maintains IT hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals and wiring.
Lead team in troubleshooting Infrastructure and application issues.
Coordinate with other departments/teams in order to understand and meet their business requirements.
Define, implement, test, and maintain data back-up protocols to ensure availability.
Be accountable for measuring and optimizing application and infrastructure performance, and to initiate and lead recovery actions after system failures.
Plan, implement, and execute global Disaster Recovery initiatives.
Forecast, plan, and execute to budget.
Project plan with clear and concise communication methods.
Monitor and maintain infrastructure stability.
Prepare and maintain documentation of IT Infrastructure.
Maintain Infrastructure equipment inventory and manage hardware life-cycle.
Establish and/or maintain corporate IT infrastructure standards in regards to configuration and security.
Make sure IT governance, audit and compliance requirements are met.
Continuously improve, document, implement and manage standardized policies and procedures for areas of responsibility.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer science, Information Technology or related field preferred

years of experience in IT with 2-3 years in a similar (hands-on) role
Ability to assess and (re-)design as necessary the current Windows/network global infrastructure for IT
Understands budgeting, including tracking variances and managing budgets within a narrow error margin
Experienced in contract and vendor management
Excellent written and oral communication, including the ability to confidently present to all levels of management
Proficient understanding of IP networking: Cisco, TCP/IP, Window Server, Network Security, and disaster recovery.
Proficient understanding of storage and server design
Demonstrated Data Center/Server Room build out experience (Power, Network, Cooling, etc)
Expertise in VMware ESX, SAN, Monitoring tools, and Operating Systems (strong understanding of Windows)
Eager to work in a highly collaborative team environment, with a demonstrated ability to lead by example and drive the team to high performance
Detailed oriented, analytical mindset, highly effective at decision making
Results-driven, process oriented, and always serving as an advocate for our end users
