ETL/Informatica Developer - SQL, Banking
We have an immediate full time opportunity with a large F500 client in the Columbus, OH area.
The Data Warehouse Engineer is responsible for the development and maintenance of Data Warehouse and all the processes supporting the acquisition of data.
Responsibilities:
oWill also contribute in the design of new Data Warehouse Components/ Data Marts.
oEach team member is responsible for the quality of the all data intergraton processes.
oDesign and develop ETL Data Loading packages.
oTranslate Business Requirements into a technical solution
oProvide Production Support of the Data Warehouse as well as the ETL jobs used to support the Data Warehouse and FRB. This includes being an active member of the Point rotation as well as providing support to other team members that are covering point.
oAdhere to ETL/Data Warehouse development Best Practices
oAssist in the design and development of Data Warehouse/Data Mart
oAbility to identify and resolve any performance and/or data related issues
oProvide documentation (Data Mapping, Technical Specifications, Production Support, data dictionaries, test cases, etc.) for all projects
oMentorship of junior team members
Key Skills/Knowledge:
oSQL Server database knowledge
oAdvanced Microsoft SQL Development (T-SQL)
oMicrosoft SSIS Development (2005, 2008, 2012) is a plus Advanced Informatica PowerCenter Development & Data Analysis skillset
oInformatica Test Data Management Development is a plus
oImplemented Enterprise Level Data Warehouses
oUnderstanding of Agile Data Warehouse Development
oAdvance knowledge of performance tuning related to ETL Development
oStrong experience with Source Control (VSS, TFS, Subversion, etc.)
oStrong experience with SQL Server Management Studio & BIDS
oStrong communication (verbal & written) and problem solving skills
oAbility to handle multiple projects and manage time efficiently
oHave an understanding of Microsoft Analysis Services and the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack
