Traveling Construction Site Superintendent - Local
Nationwide General Contractor with area office in Ohio seeks local Construction Site Superintendent that is willing to travel to various jobsites throughout. The Site Superintendent reports directly to the Project Manager and/or Construction Director. His/her responsibilities include supervision of the field construction project, including it's organization, planning, coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety concerns in order to ensure proper delivery to the Client of the services committed to by Bergman KPRS, LLC.
Qualifications, Experience and
Responsibilities:
Extensive knowledge of various construction trades, construction scheduling, and engineering principals and techniques. Extensive knowledge of various design and construction means, methods and materials, their characteristics, and installation procedures.
Accepts responsibility for field supervision. Verifies site conditions, controls job labor costs, oversees project safety and hired labor. Executes final punch list, final inspections. Maintains project schedules and ensures a high standard of quality and customer service.
Demonstrate management know-how, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate dedication, willingness and ability to understand, promote and integrate Bergman KPRS policies and procedures.
Develop client relationships in a manner that attracts new Clients and/or keeps existing Clients with Bergman KPRS.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Accepts responsibility for Quality Control, and fields all Customer, Suppliers and Subcontractor correspondence.
Coordinates all subcontractors according to the scope of their subcontract while controlling change order.
Demonstrate ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Work and Excel to document and produce reports including job site photography.
MUST be able to travel. Most jobs will require our Superintendents to stay close to the project. Travel with estimated 50%-75%.
Must have minimum of 5 years experience as a Site Superintendent.
