Sales Director
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Sales (DS) is responsible for the operational functions of the region; the DS will analyze data and actively contributing to the region achieving sales goals. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for supervision of all stores in region
Required to be in store location minimum 4 days per week (each store visited once per month)
Oversee achieving sales quotas
Responsible for managing all aspects of the region in a synchronized and efficient manner
Direct and support the DM and SM in the region
Provide information regarding new product to the region
Analyze sales trends
Responsible for identifying policies and procedural issues
Participate in actively seeking out potential locations for new GoWireless stores
Responsible for meeting or exceeding performance objectives as established by upper management to include meeting deadlines.
Responsible for conducting regular meetings with all sales staff to assist them in achieving their goals as defined by management.
Responsible for conducting performance reviews and disciplinary actions as appropriate in conjunction with the DM and Corporate Human Resources
Responsible for calculating monthly commissions for Sales Associates in conjunction with the DM's
Responsible for inventory reconciliation, control, and delivery in conjunction with DM's, must comply with inventory aging policies
Responsible for heading weekly team meeting
Maintain personal key metrics above standard
Other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications
4-yr Bachelor Degree preferred or equivalent in directly related field
Minimum of 5 yrs of proven experience in Sales or Marketing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Extensive experience in building a successful staff through continual training
Successful track record in developing new business opportunities
Outstanding skills in team leadership, strategic planning and personnel management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Team player
Physical Requirements
Extended periods of time standing
Depending on territory size could have extended times spent driving from location to location
Lifting up to 50 pounds
Occasional bending, stooping, pulling
Repetitive motion tasks while doing computer work
Exposure to active wireless equipment, signals and transmissions
