The Marketing and Communication Director will be responsible for the development and execution of external and digital marketing communications strategies that attract donors, increase awareness, and build community engagement. The incumbent will manage all activities related to public relations, media relations, advertising, promotion, publications, marketing, content creation, web and social media and information. Additional duties also include managing internal and external brand management responsibilities and acting in place of the Executive Vice President of Development and Communications on occasion. This position will manage a small marketing and communications team. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or related field, including 5-7 years of relevant experience. Applicants must be prepared to provide recent writing samples, and demonstrate effective leadership in managing small teams. Preferred applicants will have working knowledge of Web content management, including understanding of HTML, WordPress, SEO, Adobe Creative Suite and related Web applications, social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
