DevOps Programmer

Job Description

Currently have an opening for a DevOps Programmer.
In this role, you will work with the IT management team to design, monitor and update DevOps artifacts including policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, best practices and position papers.
Essential Functions
  • Document and maintain the standard deployment process and application hosting environment 
  • Assist developer and infrastructure teams in utilizing DevOps practices, to build and release applications and act as a liaison between them.
  • Make recommendations to improve operational efficiencies; writes scripts to automate application deployments, build environments, troubleshoot issues.
  • Streamline the CI/CD process by removing bottlenecks related to environment provisioning and maintenance.
  • Develop, test, and support Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and Git Branching and merging processes and other DevOps artifacts for applications and services. 
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure automated tests are successfully executed as part of the deployment process.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Experience in the following areas:
    • Azure Porta
    • l Cloud Services
    • Azure DevOps
    • Build and release using DevOps pipelines
    • Experience scripting azure environments
    • 2+ years experience with Git source code repository 
    • 2+ years experience with Azure App Service 
    • At least 1 years of experience working with Azure Functions
    • Cosmos DB (< 1year)
    • Azure blob storage 
    • YMAL
    • C# 7.0 and higher
    • .NET Framework (4.5.2 and higher), .net core 2.2 and higher
    • Oracle database
    • MS-SQL database
    • WCF/Web API
  • Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
