As Global Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading the company's global purchasing organization Implementing purchasing strategies to reduce costs using Lean (ideally Six Sigma) Negotiating costs and contracts with companies across the globe Leading a purchasing team, both locally and internationally Developing and managing budgets Expanding and sourcing suppliers Performing supplier audits Ownership of purchasing KPIs Traveling both domestically and internationally To be considered for the Global Purchasing Manager position you must have: A BS degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or similar, along with at least 7 years of purchasing and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Experience purchasing and overseeing the purchasing of commodities for multiple plant sites (multi-national company), ideally massive amounts of plastics, dies, chemicals, etc. Experience working with international companies Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma is ideal Experience with ERP, ideally SAP Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% your first year High energy, able to go on the plant floor, go-getter Excellent communication and negotiation skills Key skills: Global, Manufacturing, Purchasing Please apply or send us a copy of your resume to Link Removed . The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
