To qualify for a Logistics Management Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized
Experience:
One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Applying a wide range of principles, theories, and processes of management when working with various directorates and staff. Applying analytical and statistical techniques to gather, analyze, and assess the effectiveness and quality of complex logistics support plans, contingency plans, and/or operational plans. Preparing and presenting findings and recommendations, express specific actions leading to negotiations and/or the resolution of controversial issues, and/or selling or implementing new ideas and concepts. Employing problem solving techniques and process improvement approaches to be able to plan, coordinate, and advise on complex activities, to form action plans and accurately gauge management decisions and actions Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
