Supply Chain Systems Manager

Summary

The Supply Chain Systems Manager will work at the Pressure Cylinders division level supporting the SBU SCM s and their teams on supply chain initiatives related to systems, tools, and reporting that supports the SCM s and their respective supply chains and processes.
This role will manage all projects related to the established digital supply chain roadmap, coordinating and prioritizing projects with the SCM s and their teams.

Key focus areas will include improving and standardizing the following existing areas of the supply chain systems:
S&OP automation, demand planning, MRP & inventory management, and visibility through reporting and dashboards.
This role will also help evaluate, develop and implement supply chain industry best practices and long term improvements to SC systems that help Transform, automate and digitize Cylinders supply chains.

This role will be the SME and functional owner for all SC related systems, tools, BI dashboards and reporting for the division.
The role will support and coach the SCM s and their teams on existing and new technologies.
This role will interact directly with the IT and Business Analytics teams to define SC requirements and develop actions plans to implement solutions on the digital roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all cross SBU/divisional level supply chain systems projects and activities
  • Implementation of supply chain systems improvements for all Pressure Cylinder SBU's
  • Work directly with SCM's and Divisional SC team to develop, review and implement established SC Digital Roadmap
  • Coaches, supports, trains and project manages all SC related systems tools, dashboards an reports.
    the SCM's, their teams and other cross functional groups as required
  • Helps automate S&OP process evaluating current solutions and BIC options for future state
  • Helps evaluate and improve demand planning process with focus on current tools (Futurecast) and review of best in class industry tools for future state
  • Helps evaluate and improve material planning process with focus on current tools (MRP) and review of best in class industry tools for future state
  • Helps improve supply chain visibility with focus on current tools (dashboards, KPI's Pipeline reporting etc) and review of best in class industry tools for future state
  • Manages the execution of the SC Digital Strategy and supports the SCM's and cross functional teams with all action plans to achieve plan
  • SME and functional owner of all SC Systems, tools and Reporting

Desired Experience

Bachelor s Degree from four-year College or University, preferably with a focus on supply chain or related field of study; trained or experience utilizing and planning in MRP and demand planning software; experience in developing reports and KPIs;

Extensive experience with JDE MRP, Futurecast and data warehouses required (5
years)

15%-20% travel will be required (Based on market conditions and WI, Customer, Govt.
travel policies)

The ability to develop strong relationships with SCM s and their teams as well as other cross functional groups

Efficient computer skills in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OSC, Webex and MS Teams

Demonstrated ability to proactively and positively accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously

Good attitude, team player and willingness to take on more are a must

Strong project management, time management and communication skills required

Supply Chain management experience required (5
years)
