Director, Strategic IT Resource Management

VP, Administrative Operation

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Director, Strategic IT Resource Management is one of the CIO's partners in leading IT to become a business-oriented organization. The position reports to the CIO and acts as chief of staff for the organization, providing leadership and support for the cross-functional management of information and technology across the enterprise. The role oversees the functions of IT Financial Management, IT Communications, IT Vendor Management, and IT Project Management.

TASKS AND
Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Partners with the CIO and IT leaderships in setting technology vision, strategy and direction for the enterprise
  • Supports focus and prioritization within the IT organization through participation in IT strategic planning and governance processes to ensure IT can deliver value in alignment with business strategy and priorities
  • Oversees the development and management of the IT budgeting and forecasting process, partnering with corporate finance and IT domain leaders to establish a common framework for financial reporting, and actively manages and reports on the ongoing operational and capital spend
  • Leads the IT project management resources, partnering with corporate portfolio teams to coordinate project reporting requirements and staffing needs. Manages internal FTE and external contract IT project resources, ensuring adequate staffing levels are met to meet the needs of the portfolio
  • Guides product and strategic system integrator selection processes
  • Establishes and implements continuous-improvement programs for the IT organization
  • Stays current with developments in new market trends, innovations in technology
  • Facilitates change and drives effective collaboration/communications for the IT organization

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience preferred

MINIMUM
Experience:

  • 5
    years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Wide and deep experience in business/industry, managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying, cultivating, and leading strategic sourcing processes for IT, in collaboration with in-house procurement organizations
  • Effective in managing project resource allocation across large organizations and providing visibility to current and future resource availability
  • Broad-based knowledge of IT technologies, governance structure, resource and vendor management
  • Expertise in budget development, financial forecasting, financial management and workforce strategy
  • Experience managing mature IT product selection processes across a diverse set of capabilities, budgets, and stakeholders
  • Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs
  • Ability to improve operational efficiency; service delivery and information management across the IT organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others
  • Strong written communication skills and proven acumen in developing compelling presentations for senior leadership and board-level audiences

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
