Responsibilities Job SummaryThe Digital Pricing & Promotions Analyst at Express is responsible for executing operational excellence year-round, with a primary focus on flawless implementation and management of product pricing and promotional updates:
balancing clean execution of plans with the ability to react nimbly.
This position requires partnership with the pricing, merchandising, development, and analytics teams to bring Express's promotional updates to fruition.
Participation in process and tool improvements to maximize digital operation efficiencies is essential to this role.
Involvement in the weekly on call structure is also a key requirement of this position.
Essential Tasks60% Pricing and Promotions Ownership:
Create and maintain all digital pricing and promotional activity including Men and Women's product, EFO, direct mailer, coupon and 3rd party programs, EXP Locator, and APP exclusive offers.
Create and maintain all digital product messaging activity including clearance and final sale.
Execute new clearance and final sale marks on all digital platforms.
Setup all special sale site category requests.
Own setup of all promotional exclusions, including:
3rd party brands, associate discount, category exclusions, etc.
Help maintain product activations by ensuring all new products get correct pricing and promotional messaging.
Continuous maintenance of digital product management platforms to ensure promotions are organized and easily digestible.
Participate in coordinating launches with content and email authors, merchandising, and IT during all site flips (schedule timing, cache clears, validation and final notifications).
Collaborate with Sr.
Site Ops Analysts, IT, Planning, and Merchandising teams to improve efficiencies with the pricing and promotions process.
Create and maintain pricing and promotion SOP's that are accessible and digestible.
Review all digital platforms daily to ensure all categories and features are functioning appropriately, and all pricing and promotions are displayed correctly.
Test new promotional technology in lower environments and work closely with dev and QA teams to troubleshoot issues.
40%Issue Management and On Call Support:
Troubleshoot all digital pricing and promotion issues in a timely and effective manner.
Create support tickets and escalate bugs to Dev support and Senior or Manager Site Operations.
Clearly communicate issues and issue resolutions to cross-functional partners and key stakeholders.
Manage and validate off-hour site flip activity.
Participate in weekly on call rotations supporting all areas of eCommerce from site maintenance and issue resolution to 24 hours on call support.
Escalate P1 issues to appropriate on call support partners, Site Operations Management and call centers.
Essential RequirementsEducation:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
3
years of related work experience in ecommerce.
Proficient user of product management platforms, Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook equivalent.
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving and verbal/written communication skills required.
Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to succeed.
Experience using predicate language a plus.
Previous experience in a fast paced, retail environment.
eCommerce Apparel experience preferred.
