Vehicle Description Cruisin Classics is proud to present this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Gasser.
It's big, mean, loud, fast, and green - it's the Mr.
Yuk Gasser that won the 2022 Ohio Good Guys Burn-Out Champ award! If you're looking for a car that is like no other, you're definitely going to want to take a serious look at this beast.
This 57 210 hardtop underwent a frame-off build within the last year and it has tons of cool features.
The frame was modified with a Checkered Racing front frame clip and painted green, with glass metalic chips in the clear-coat.
When the all-steel body was put back on it was mini-tubbed, floors were patched, body mount bushings were replaced, and the front end was modified to a tilt-nose.
The body of the car was purposely left in the rustic condition it was found and painted with flames, pinstripes, and Mr.
Yuk faces, then gone over with semi-gloss patina clear-sealer - giving it a rat-rod appearance.
In stark contrast to the body, all of the stainless trim (with the exception of the windows) was replaced with gleaming new pieces front to back with the side panel inserts painted green.
When the new rear bumper was put on, a battery kill-switch and battery charge posts were incorporated below the passenger side tail-lights.
The hidden gas cap door on the drivers side rear chrome was eliminated (welded shut) and the gas fill is now in the trunk with a fuel cell.
The front of the car definitely has a gasser appearance with all trim (including the front bumper) below the hood bar eliminated and just a small fuel tank (inop.
) put in the space.
The raised front end and lack of grill also expose a plethora of green painted suspension and steering components.
The top of the hood has a cut-out section from which rises a pair of green and black velocity stacks topped with green Hulk fists.
Flanking the stacks and facing the driver are add-on gauges for fuel and water temp.
The tilt down front clip is held in place by screw-in bolts at the top rear corners as well as a latch pin assembly on the lower rear of the fenders.
Looking down the sides you'll notice some interesting features like a cracked passenger window with a green Mr.
Yuk ball in the center of the cracks, dual exhausts that empty behind the front wheels as well as ahead of the rear wheels, dual side mirrors, and bunches of cool car-guy stickers in the windows (and a few on the car).
Yuk Racing is painted above the rear side panel inserts and the hood has painted call-outs for the engine - 396ci/505hp.
The passenger side front wing window is not present.
More flames, pinstripes, and Yuk Racing elements adorn the trunk as well as a beautiful Bel Air emblem.
The trunk lock button is not present but the trunk can be opened with a long flat-head screwdriver found in the center console armrest.
This whole package rests upon grey-spoke Rocket Racing wheels with BF Goodrich Radial TA's on the front and green-painted steel wheels with Firestone Dragster white-walls in the rear.
Lift the hood forward to reveal one mean green engine.
The heart of this machine is a Blueprint 350 stroked to a 396 with 505hp.
The engine is topped with a green Edelbrock Tunnel Ram intake, 2 4-barrel Holley carburetors, 2 big green velocity stacks, and finned valve covers with green accents.
Ahead of the engine you'll notice a green alternator, green stainless pulley system, a green aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, and a trans cooler.
Exhaust exits through Cerakoted Headman Headers that flow through Thrush silencers.
The engine is mated to an upgraded 2-speed Power-Glide transmission that puts power to the ground through a Ford 9 rear with 5:
40 Posi gears encased in a Competition Engineering Chrome-Moly Axle housing - talk about bullet-proof! It's no suprise that with this combination this car ran a 6.
99 second 1/8th mile twice (though it has only had 4 track runs according to the builder).
With all that power, it's going to take some good brakes to stop it.
Thankfully, this car is equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes with Wilwood calipers and drilled slotted rotors.
Open the drivers door to reveal a very green and very custom interior.
First, there is a teal-green partial roll cage with swing-away side bars.
Please note though that the cage is not certified.
Mounted on the cage behind the driver is a fire extinguisher.
The door panels feature the same color and style combination that runs throughout the interior - green vinyl accented by diamond-quilted black fabric.
Racing seats with dual shoulder harnessees and coverings that match the door panels are up front, with a matching bench seat in the rear.
Rear side panels and front kick panels share the same color/design scheme.
Between the front seats is a center console with green shag topped armrest, storage box, cup holder, storage caddy, MSD box, Bel Air V emblem, and a TCI Outlaw X shifter with reverse button.
On the vertical section of the console is a row of toggle switches that control ignition, fuel pump, water, fan, and the neon green LED lights that illuminate the whole underside of the car.
There is also a start button with the toggles.
Looking around, there is long green shag seemingly everywhere - the entire headliner, rear package tray, armrest, and even some on the dash.
Speaking of the dash, it is topped with a green table fan that is operated by a toggle switch on the dash as well as a shift indicator light.
The dash features a Classic Instruments center combination gauge with speedometer, tachometer, voltage, and oil pressure all included.
There is a push-button on the dash which operates the horn as well as a USB port.
The driver is treated to a custom 3-spoke steel steering wheel mounted on a tilt column.
Newer black carpet completes the interior package.
Around back, you'll find that the trunk is lined with the same green shag from inside an it houses a green fuel cell and an Optima Battery.
If you're the kind of person who likes to blend in with a crowd, this is definitely not the car for you! This car will stand out wherever it goes and you can be sure that everyone who sees it will not soon forget it.
Not for the faint-hearted, this fun-machine is ready to rip rubber and turn heads down a road near you today! Give us a call before this beast gets away.
